How early should I arrive prior to my first class?
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class. This allows you enough time to check in, meet our staff and most importantly meet with your instructor to go over the machine(s).
First time guests NOT present at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class, will NOT be allowed to take class. It is REQUIRED that all first-time clients receive an overview of the methods and machines prior to their first class. This is for your safety and so you get the most out of your class.
If you arrive less than 10 minutes prior to class and miss the overview from the instructor, we will happily reschedule your class.
We know things come up last minute so if you know you will be late or unable to make class, please CALL the studio and we will early cancel your reservation so you can take your first class another time. Our Late Cancellation/No Show fee will be waived.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Wear whatever you feel the most comfortable working out and sweating in. We recommend wearing something you would wear to the gym.
Grip/sticky socks are REQUIRED for the Lagree Megaformer class. If you don’t have any, we have them for you to purchase in our studio’s retail boutique.
First-time guests receive their first pair of grip/sticky socks for $15.00.
Bring sneakers (cross-training, high-top whatever you are comfortable in) for the Versaclimber class.
Staying hydrated is vital to any workout so we suggest you bring a water bottle. We do have water-filling stations. We also sell water bottles and water in case you forget yours.
Do you have towels?
Yes, we provide you with complimentary towels.
Are sneakers required for the Versaclimber workout?
Sneakers are RECOMMENDED, but not required. We suggest a good running or high-top sneaker. You may wear sticky/grip socks in the Versaclimber class.
How many classes does it take to get “comfortable” with the machines and the methods?
You will definitely feel more comfortable after your first class, especially if you haven’t spent much time on the Lagree Megaformer or the Versaclimber. Your first class is about the experience and trying something new for the first time. Leave all expectations at the door, keep your mind open and most importantly have FUN! Remember, we all START as beginners! You just need to START!
We believe it takes about TWO to THREE classes to start feeling and seeing the benefits of our machines and our methods.
Your first few classes will be all about meeting our machines, getting comfortable on the machines and finding your HiLo groove. Don’t worry, you will still receive a KILLERworkout!
By class FOUR things start to really “click” and you will be able to push yourself even further.
The best part about our machines and our methods at HiLo is that you will never plateau. Each class you will grow stronger both physically and mentally. The more familiar you get with the machines, the stronger you will become, and the further you will be able to push yourself on the machines during your workout.
How often should I take classes for maximum results?
We suggest taking three to four classes a week on each machine for maximum results.
We also believe in adding in recovery/rest days. Taking days off is an important part of taking care of your body and receiving optimal results. Rest allows your muscles to rebuild and grow. When you have more muscle, you will burn more calories at rest. And, that’s because muscle burns more calories than fat.
Why are grip/sticky socks required for the Lagree Megaformer™?
For your safety while working out on the machine.
Hygiene.
To keep your muscles warm while working out to avoid injury and to maximize results.
What are the most important things to know before I take my first Versaclimber class?
Make sure you are well-hydrated pre and post class.
Eat something at least 30 minutes before the start of class. We recommend a light snack that has a good balance of proteins and carbohydrates.
It will take one to two classes to get acclimated to the machine and our method. Remember we all start as beginners.
You are getting a low-impact, cardio workout with this class so be prepared to sweat and get your heart-rate up.
Listen to your body and take breaks when you need them. It’s important to go at your own pace. The machine is designed for you to be in control.
Most importantly: our team of HiLo instructors are here to support you and motivate you on your fitness journey.
Will my spot be given away if I am late to class?
YES! It is important to show up on time for class. Please try to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of class.
If you are not there at the start of class, your spot may be relinquished unless you call the studio prior to the start of class. If you call and are going to be more than 5 minutes late we will reschedule your class. This is out of respect for your instructor and your fellow classmates.
If you are NEW to HiLo and are late, you WILL NOT be allowed into class. This is for your safety. It is required that new guests receive an overview of the method and machines prior to their first class.

How does the waitlist work?
Use it, it works!
Click “Add to Waitlist” button online or on the App.
You will receive an email notifying you that you got into class when someone currently in the class cancels out of the class. This only happens if the client cancels outside of the cancellation window.
If there is room in a class inside the cancellation window you will receive an email or a text message from a HiLo Team member. The more energy in class the better so we will do our best to get ahold of clients in a timely manner.
If you are added from the waitlist 60-minutes or more before the start of class our cancellation policies apply.
Can I take classes at HiLo House if I'm pregnant?
Guests who have been regularly attending classes may continue working out with us as long as we receive an approval note from your doctor.
We wouldn’t recommend trying a new workout if you are expecting, but we would love to help you get back in shape after the baby.
Instructors are trained to give modifications for pregnant guests.
